"Can't Wait" is the ultimate understatement!!! I feel totally "new" just with the excitement of QM2 entrance into NYC and the news coverage. When we booked it 14 months ago, I never dreamed it would be this big a deal. My college roommate and I cruise together every 5th year for our birthdays, and as this year is a landmark birthday for us, we decided we'd do something special. I already feel it is extra special without even having set foot aboard her.

I have to admit I'm pretty excited to sail on QM2. Watching the special on TV last night only increased that excitement.

I'll be sailing with my brother, who is a good traveling companion. We have taken a few cruises together. My partner Christopffre had absolutely no desire to go. He is not a fan of cruises and really doesn't understand all the hoopla surrounding QM2. He calls her "just another barge, only larger!". He likes to say these things just to wind me up, but it doesn't work anymore.

Hopefully I will run into you onboard!

12:30, which is great -- it gets us onboard and time to explore before we're underway. I want to be topside when we leave NYC.

Not to worry, I will have plenty of time to be on deck for our departure. Cocktails first in the Commodore Club of course!

I received my documents and everything looks in order. It really seems "real" now with those in hand.
