Hey! I am an experianced cruiser and wanted to know your guys opinion on the Carnival Fasicantion. Me and my 3buddies want to go on it, were all 15, and we need one of our parents to take us. We are looking at the 3night Bahamas July 18. Me, who has been on 8 cruises, (Fantasy 2x, Exctasy, Majesty of the Seas, Golden Princess, Costa Atlantica, Carnival Legend, and Carnival Victory) is a little concerned. I dont want my freinds parents to freek out if they dont like it! I know Fascination is old, and the last cruise my 3 buddies took was on Carnival Legend, and it was brand new! Also, with Norwalk being on it, do you think its alright??? Has anyone been on it recently and can I have their opinion! 3 Nights is no big deal, just time to hang out and screw around with my buddies...

Old is relative. The Regal Empress and the Peaceboat are about 50 years old.

Never sailed Carnival but I have heard from many that there are plenty of activities for all ages.

Screwing around with your buddies at 15: hmmmmm you are advanced for your age
You must have liberal parents

Now that Regal is out of business which line now gets the guzzle and puke crowd?

The passengers would like you better if you were.
Would hookers on board calm you and your friends down?

Thank god, I'm not on that ship. Pressing elevator buttons is something little kids do, but I guess the mentality of some 15 year olds is the same.

Desi - maybe Topgun is right in his thinking, when we see posts like this.

I think for M3's cruise they should change the age of children being allowed in lifts on their own to 16!
Saying that, the only time this happened to me recently was when a woman entered and ran her far too long over painted gaudy nail along the whole row of buttons until she found her's at the bottom. Hence we then stopped at every floor to her exasperated groans of 'hurry up!'

I will end up in jail if I ever sail with teens again - sneaking liquor, throwing up in the showroom, hogging the disco after teen hours were up, grabbing waitresses' breasts, having a mini orgy in the martini bar....never again...

We can offer the Chicken Cannon.

In recent tests, range was significantly increased with a much better payload.

Yes it is better to thaw out the subjects first.

Have a great time!
Why not post a review on your return? I'd be particularly interested to hear what you enjoyed about your cruise as well as things you disliked (if any).
Enjoy - but better not tick off the parents too much - you may need them again!

desirod7....you only have ONE thing on the brain.....sex....there's so much more to life buddy. M3MAN2K1 and his friends seem like good kids, why would anyone want to pollute their minds with thoughts of prostitutes?

M3MAN2K1 and his friends would be less bothersome to the likes of Topgun and MSGrumple if they were busy with prostitutes rather than pushing elevator buttons, or worse putting graffiti in the corrodors, smashing mirrors, food fights, and throwing deck chairs overboard. This does happen from time to time.

Those between the ages of 14-19 are at the peak of their hormonal rage. Let them get it safely out of their system.

BTW the children of my gay and lesbian couple friends who have adopted are also good kids.

By the time I reach Sympatico's age, gay and lesbian families will be traditional as hetero families are.

Barry, I have quite a full life, that goes beyond sex. You do not know me and you never will.

LOL -

"By the time I reach Sympatico's age, gay and lesbian families will be traditional as hetero families are. "

Desi - you'll reach it some day too, hopefully!

With Gay and Lesbian marriages now legal in Canada, I am sure your statement is correct.

What sort of comment is that?
As stated in my post to M3MAN2K1 I'm genuinely interested in teens interests and dislikes while cruising.
You're just trying to stir things up desirod!

The type of behavior MSGrumple and Topgun have been complaining about when kids are on cruiseships.

Stirring things up, hmmmmmm: Topgun's attacks on CruiseNY.
"Now is the best time to cruise" "Now is not the best time to cruise"; Topgun topics. I find them amsuing rather than offensive.

Ignore all this supposedly 'adult' bickering and give us your ideas.

Desirod, I have to straighten out the position on recent posts in the young cruisers area about my intent.

Foremost, I can no longer take life and its issues too seriously.

My posts have never been intended to insult the likes of teens such as M3M etc. I am however fully aware from my own teen years that I was sensitive to the injustices showered on me at that time.

I also remember my abilitity to totally miss the point if any humor was involved. Young people dont have too much space for this

As to Cruiseny, you are presently wrong in claiming that I make attacks on this young fellow.
Recently, I have been complimentary towards many of his posts.
During the last year, he has obviously learned to tone down, reduce his verbosity and drop his smart Alecky attitude.
At one time this board was almost strangled. Not so any more. Keep up the good postings NY.

To any young person, please be sure read anyones post in detail before starting another Gulf war.

Topgun, MSGrumple,

I actually enjoy your posts; and find them amusing and interesting. The non-controversial "Cabin Lighting and Single Beds" was a lot of fun for me since I work in Lighting.

What makes cruisetalk interesting to me is all the different people from different parts of the world.

Controversy is fun and interesting if we agree to disagree and keep it a sholarly reasoned debate.

I always was and always will be the "class clown"
