Ansaldo shipyard: project for the company's Transatlantic steamers Camillo di Cavour and Andrea Doria (1914-not realised)
200 meters long, 30,000 tons, 25 knots.

The plans here were reposted from an Italian FaceBook group, "Le Mitiche Navi Passeggeri", but they were originally posted in Maurizio Eliseo's superb book "Transatlantici". There, they can be seen in large-format with lots of detail.

"Damned by Destiny" didn't focus much on Italian ships, but a number of these projects can be found in many of the fine Italian ocean liner books which have come out over the past 20 years.

Interesting. No beauty IMO with the vertical funnels -the 4th could have easily been eliminated which would have improved her profile.
