For those interested, my new book, Liner Bound, is now available. It's 232 pages, has nearly 300 photos, and covers over 100 ships. Most of the photos have never been published in book form. In fact, they are mostly personal snapshots that have never been seen before. A preview can be found at:

Thanks!

Hi Russ,

Do you think that "Liner Bound" might be available at Barnes & Noble in Newport? If I wasn't working today I'd walk over and see for myself.

I believe this book, like Russ' previous works, is a print-on-demand publication, only available on-line through Blurb (see the link posted above.) This isn't something you'll see sitting on a shelf in a bookstore.

Rich is correct: the book is print-on-demand and is only available from Blurb.com

Using Blurb does make the cost a little higher, but it gives me total control over everything – content, layout, etc. And since I'm a total control freak, that's important to me.

Thanks!

Search Blurb discounts on the web before you order. They have a variety of discount coupons floating around ... all very legit ... that get you 20% off the price of a book.

I just got my copy of the book super quick from Blurb. Some absolutely fabulous pictures ... especially some of the life aboard shots.

One nit to pick is they chopped off some of the bows and sterns in some of the pictures or failed to center them up on the page but it really does not detract from the book.

As I said great pictures!

Glad you like the book – many thanks. Also glad to hear the discount worked.

Thanks for your feedback about the photo placement.
