BTW, a little trivia....I read that the Augustus was the great Italian soprano Renata Tebaldi's favorite ship. She crossed to NYC and to South America many times on this ship. She was deathly afraid to fly.

For those few who may not remember La Tebaldi, she had one of the greatest voices of the 20th century. She was called a "Lirico Spinto," soprano....an extremely powerful voice which could fill large halls with big sound. She was particularly known for her Puccini and Verdi heroines. She was also a very beautiful, statuesque woman with great presence on stage.
