Sierra Leone does not sounds too promising for a cruise line. Sounds like a registry of convenience on the way to the bone yard.

She was sold for scrap indeed, but the deal fell through, because of a disagreement between the owner and the scrap dealer (scrap dealer didn't know her engines were shot).

Expanding a bit.. didn't the scrappers pull out once they realised they would have to pay for a tow to Alang instead of her making her own way there? Caveat Emptor.
