I finally (after years and years of trying) got someone to go into my storage locker down in North Carolina and hunt down some of my pictures. In the next few days I hope to post some of those I took while in Miami, NYC, Philadelphia, Naples, Norfolk, and other places.
Enjoy!

Photo's from the 1970 trip:

It was indeed prior to her rebuild as Regent Rainbow to later become the Emerald of Louis Cruise Lines. I assume she is still in layout? Santa Rosa was a great classic liner as built for the Grace Lines with a wonderful history.
SANTA ROSA was sold on Dec. 19th, 1989, and towed from Baltimore shortly after that. She was taken to Greece for refitting and modernization, quickly renamed PACIFIC SUN and then DIAMOND ISLAND, but it wasn't until 1992 that she became REGENT RAINBOW and actually started back in service.

THANKS Doug for the link. It reminded me I needed to send my pictures over to Peter Knego on MM. I posted a link back to this thread in the comment section of that post.
BTW: I have to apologize for not having been able to catch some webcam shots of Oceanic transiting the Panama canal while you were on your cruise - my schedule simply did not allow that.

THANKS Ernst. I did just finish downloading nearly 700 pictures from my vacation over in the 'Back in the Saddle, again' thread. There are quite a few albums including the NS Savannah and my 9-night Celebrity MERCURY cruise. I hope you get a chance to take a look at them.
