It's really a couple of days ago. A flag and a port painting are easy to change. I have no information about her departure, but it could be very soon.
Best,

Joe, Malcolm - how much does it take to get a member suspended from Cruise Talk?

CT Members are supposed to have better manners than this. No wonder some folks just up and leave, getting tired of the grade school mentality of some of you. But I guess that is too much to ask?
I have never left CT. I love it. It's the best cruise/ship site on the web.Everyday I read every post and occasionally post a thank you or short note. But that is all I dare. Now, since I've got the floor, let me say this....
Those of you who have felt it their right or job to disrupt the forums with your childish, egotistical, rude, unexceptable behavior should just go away. PLEASE go away! This is where I come to learn and share my love of ships with people all over the world. I couldn't do that before the internet. It was libraries and travel brochures. Here I have what I never had before...Friends that share my love for passenger ships. I will be damned if I am going to listen to anymore of this $%^&>! and see us lose any more members.
All we can do is COMPLETELY ignore these needless posters or wait until they are finally ousted form CT.
Michael is gonna start taking this site back from the "pirates". We have lost too many posters because of the behavior of too many insensitive posters. It's sad and we can't let it happen any more.
I don't want to have to go back to the TA and ask for old brochures again. I'm too old.
Michael
There is no bickering just a little micky taking with LenKinap with whom I do exchange private messages.
When peoples sense of humour has died it can also affect the number of postings on a forum.

Perception is in the context of what the reader reads, and not always what the originator posts. What may be a fun jab between 'internet aquaintances', may be interpreted as ridicule by strangers, especially in a public internet forum.

While I respect that LenKinap and yourself are sharing a private joke, the issue is, you come across as a d**k to everyone else.
While I really do respect your knowledge on certain things, maybe you should stop for a second and think how things look to other people ?
Oh !
Many thanks for the comment about my knowledge.
Elsewhere we have gained over 500 new members since Christmas so a little micky taking does work and helps to keep a forum light hearted and friendly which it appears posters do like.
It is not so much a question of crying out aloud, if I have the micky taken.
I just stand up for myself, which some people may not expect, and say what I think.
Not everyone understands or appreciates jabs at another members sense of intelligence, especially when it comes off as unwanted sarcasm.
And as for a sense of humor, Malcolm has a great one is is almost always appreciated for his cunning wit.
