Hi Peter

She is on charter to a French company and on a round the world cruise which lasts for 127 days !

After a call at Manta, they next visit various of the Pacific Ocean islands, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia, India, Oman, Jordan, Greece, Italy and France.

She is due back at Marseilles on the 11th May 2010.

The company is Croisieres Notre Temps and they have been selling the voyage in sections.

I have a copy of their brochure which is in French.

How nice, thanks for the info, Neil. Similar to her original route as PORT MELBOURNE. Props to CIC for hanging onto such a nice collection of vintage ladies.

do you know which aussie ports she will call at and dates thank you i saw her twice in melb about 15 yrsago once in costa colours and i think she was in the joint costa russian colours the next year. she is based in singapore later this yr with cic and if she is as well run as funchal i might give her a try cic is a well run company with great staff and pretty good food much better than p&o australia

Whitsundays: 27 March
Cairns: 28-29 March
Darwin: 2 April

I believe it's actually her sister (Princess Daphne) that will be in Asia over 2010/11.

It is the sister ship to Princess Danae the Princess Daphne which will be based at Singapore for a series of cruises from December 19th 2010 until 4th April 2011.

I don't know how much she has changed since her birth as Danae for Carras Cruises, but Carras did a fantastic job with her re-build. I had a beautiful brochure given to me by friends who enjoyed several cruises on these sisters. Very spacious and plush and fewer than 500 pax as I remember.....I think 425 pax or so.

Great photos, I remember when both the Danae and the Daphne were with Costa, had dinner on board the Danae in the early 80's when my hubby was a travel agent. Wish I had taken photos of her.

I'm sure her interiors have changed since their Costa days.
