That depends of his ability in walking and depending where he is living, if he is willing to travel that far.I am not accepting the invitation, as it takes 2 1/2 hour to get to the ship, they are not talking of refunding travelcosts and besides of that, I am not capable to walk fastas would be required by an emergency case.I will wait till the pre-opening visit.

I understand that living that far, I would not come to.
But it would be very realistic to have people with walking problems, in wheelchairs, children in buggy's to fore that matter. So they are able to test the evacuation more realistic.

I agree to that, but it seems that De Rotterdam BV is not realizing that those people will come on board and that it might happen that they have to be evacuated.Their requirement for this day is: "Are you over 18 and a good walker . . ."
It sounds like an utterly useless drill though - as though only adults who are good walkers will be going aboard once she is open to the public! Obviously they are only interested in doing what is easy rather than attempting to simulate reality. I am surprised the local authorities are letting them get away with this. In some drills people who have no difficulties have to pretend they do, in order to make it more realistic!

That's almost next door
If he is a member of the Association De Lijn, he probably has received the invitation.
