Just returned from a fantastic two weeks aboard the DISCOVERY, which is quickly becoming one of my very favorite ships. She is a great size, has lovely decks, some striking curves, a wonderful staff and crew, some nice Midcentury features and is an excellent value for the money. I hope to go back again soon in some capacity. An added bonus was having the Maritime Memories group on board, so menus were recreated from old liners, houseflags flying and great stories told. First half of blog is now up, including a visit to the stunning little AKDENIZ in Tuzla and some interesting ships seen along the way.
