Ben,

It is good news for us. Now we can finally carry on with making our plans.

Although it is hard to keep the people of "On board on shore" to keep their promisses. They promissed to call us to make further plans a few times but they just don't call. We get a bit annoyed by that. But let's call them starting up problems...

By the way it will be great to see the cruiseships entering Rotterdam with the new webcam.

With all the bad preservation news going on around the world, this is a good news story. That being said, what's a few years among friends so long as the desired result takes place.

Much better than the scrapyard. Too bad that the Regal Empress and the Maxim Gorkiy didn't make it to the promise land, like the SS Rotterdam. Bad economic times makes the journey to preserve a ship almost impossible.

Due to the financial problems, the Board of Commissioners of Woonbron BV (mothercompany of De Rotterdam BV) has been forced to step down.

The Board of Directors are still keeping their jobs, allthough various political parties are demanding their resignation.
