I just wonder what Mona Lisa is up to this winter season? From what i understand the first cruise for the german company is in may 2009. Is she laid up in Greece untill then, or?

MONA LISA is laid up in Eleusis Bay, near Piraeus. Also there is SS Ivory. Several other ships will probably join them there for the winter.

The majority of the Greek island cruises, operated by the Greek companies, are now finishing for this year which will mean most of their ships are layed up until about Easter 2009.

MONA LISA has been shifted from Eleusis Bay back to Piraeus Main Port and is docked at the old Exhibition Hall berth adjacent to the main Terminal. A new winter charter perhaps....?

Maru has answered my question on another new thread! So CLIPPER PACIFIC has been abandoned (not surprisingly) by Peaceboat who have now taken on MONA LISA. This presumably is only till May when she goes back to Lord Nelson Cruises?

I forgot to add to my previous post that CLIPPER PACIFIC is still alongside the Piraeus Passenger Terminal and there must be frantic shifting of passengers, stores etc from her to MONA LISA on the adjacent berth if they are going to sail on 5 November!

This is where we miss the webcam that covered the cruise ship berths in Piraeus harbour.

I wonder if it is likely to come back on line.
