Haven't heard much about her lately...and I can't recall what she is doing. Could you please fill in the blanks for me on her? Thank you.

MARCO POLO is just finishing up her Antarctica season with Orient Lines, and will be going to Transocean Tours, sailing for the German cruise market. See Here.

And here for her British-market cruises in the summer.

She will also be doing Antarctic cruises for both the British and German markets. I am not clear on whether these will be the same cruises or whether some will be sold in the UK and others in Germany (like her other cruises).

Anyway, I love the dear old thing, she is an absolute gem of a ship - anyone who has the chance to sail in her should .

You are absolutely right Doug. She is a gem and those who have not sailed her have missed a lot.

And if im not correct when Gerry Herrod re-built her back in the 90's she was made solas compliant, or at least it wont take much to make her that way. Mr.Herrod I believe did a good majority of any work that was needed to make sure she had a secure future!
