Just curious, would this have been for 2nd or 3rd Class passengers??

Going by the Cob webs would make the Munsters or the Addams feel very welcome onboard

Deb, if this is where I think it is, it's in the forward portion of the ship, towards the bow, right? If so, then that would have been the Third Class area.

The Queen Mary is just to large for to manage without the funds, leaving many areas of the ship like this...its just too bad. Im guessing that the area was pitch dark until you used the flash?

To me this looks staged. (webs, old trunks etc.) Isn't this part of a tour expierience?

The area was used for the Ghost tour (or set up for a special halloween tour)...it's part of the third-class areas not far from where the third-class dining room use to be and forward of the first-class pool. There really are a few stairwells and parts of the ship that don't get much traffic.

Right, when I've been there, before the Ghost Tours were established, there were no trunks blocking the Purser's window. Plus the cobwebs are a bit fake, really heavy in some portions, while surrounding walls and ceilings have nothing.
