You fellas in Sydney ready for the meeting of SAGA ROSE and SAGA RUBY on March 6? This will be the first-ever meeting since Saga Cruises was formed in England in 1996.

SAGA RUBY pays visit here in Adelaide on Thursday. Hope someone gets some interesting pics in the harbour city.

I believe that Rose and Ruby have met on many occasions under the Saga flag - S'ton, Dover, Lisbon, Funchal, etc,.....

Would be spectacular to see them sail thriugh Sydney Harbor side-by-side though!

Do you mean their first world cruises with Saga or do you mean ever? Because didn't they do world cruises with Cunard?
Also do you mean this is their first time meeting in Sydney?

A bit off topic - has anyone a picture showing Sagafjord and Vistafjord together with NAL livery?

In Clive Harvey's 'The Saga Sisters' there is a lovely photo (from a 1970s brochure) of the two passing on page 44.

They are both in for 2 days.........both have a 9.00 arrival on the Tuesday,so I wonder if they will follow each other up the harbour?

Jeff, the link is on the right hand side of Saga Cruises mainpage. Lovely to watch. I hope they put one up of the 2 meeting in Sydney too.

THAT is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for pointing it out.

A little note to those who create computer "screen savers". There are many of us out there who would gladly pay for a screen saver like that video of the two Saga sisters cruising through the deep blue sea! I have my credit card in hand, all I need is for you to be creative!

bmajor, thanks for the webcam pic. She was running a little late. I was there on the rocks taking photos. Will be there again when EUROPA comes in on Tuesday March 6th., betweenat 07:00 and 08:00.

PACIFIC PRINCESS will visit us probably for the last time on March 21st., at 06:30.

What a majestic sight Bmajor!
Just like the wake of theship, the weather is still!
Those ships are always a marvel to look at or film.
Their perfect size allows them to sail the worst seas in complete safety yet enter the smallest ports!
I once sailed ssSky Princess and Australia had the best ports entrances.
As we saw with QM2, even Sydney makes a dramatic sight, but I remember Melbourne and New Zealand's Dunedin!
