Nice photos. Especially the one of the rough seas. Dave where on the ship did you take the photo from? When I was on the westbound maiden transatlantic we also had very rough seas. I took many photos and found that some of the better ones were from near the exterior windows along Deck 3 by the Royal Court Theatre. Thanks for posting.

Hi Doug,

Photos were taken from the hull hole balcony cabin 4130, which is the height of the boat deck on a modern boxboat. We later went to the Deck 2 gallery next to Illuminations for a better view.

Remember our 2004 trip when we closed G32 and the Kings Court at 2am?

Yes it was a terrific time! QM2's 1st July 4th trip out of NYC & QM2's inaugural visit into Newport, RI. But..........

From what I see in the above photo it looks like you guys are really partying on your latest trip.

Looks great with the public rooms being used. G32 was so dull when we looked around.
