While the area has changed since I was last there on Sagafjord, in 1992, I would agree this must be Quebec City...The condo on the left hand side gives it away...and it's also our little piece of France in Quebec - one of the NICEST cities in Canada to visit.

It would appear that this pic was taken from the boardwalk below the Chateau Frontenac...just double checked my pics from here - DEFINITELY Quebec City

Very nice picture.

In the picture she looks as if permanantly docked there. Leaves me wondering ....It this our floating hotel of the future?

Ahhh - now I understand. Moderns ships are deliberatly ugly to avoid all the problems with people complaining when they have to be scrapped - very smart.

2 lovely photos... interesting that not a great deal has actually changed over the years in the surrounding area; but the style and size difference of the 2 ships is amazing.

Wow...thank you Malcolm. What a fantastic photo. 5 months from today the huge grin you'll see on a Deck 11 balcony will be mine as we sail away from Ft Lauderdale...hopefully with all pods intact! This is the perfect picture as I celebrate our countdown! We booked last November and I finally feel like it's going to happen! Cheers, Penny

I was on that cruise itinerary in August of 2000 and have a similar vista on video. Quebec City looks just like Europe; with a Brussells flair. The American cars are a giveaway
