The TSS Caribia of the Universal Cruise Line seemsto be a very popular part of my web site on the RMS Caronia. Because of this I've now extended the coverage to 9 pages, which goes into some detail onthe ignominious career that followed Cunard ownership.
As I've been putting the information together, I'vebeen wondering whether there's still anyone out there who actually travelled on either of the two disastrous cruises, or if someone knows a personwho did? I imagine that not everyone would be verywilling to admit that they did travel on Caribia, however, I'd be really delighted to hear from you if you have any information to add to that which I currently present.
The new section carries images of the first and only(?) brochure along with other very interestingartefacts. I'm hoping to extend this in the near futurewith a precis report of the time when Caribia met therocks of Apra Harbour in Guam.
The TSS Caribia story starts here... Enjoy..!
I recall seeing her as a kid and my parents dismayed on how such a great ship languished.
