I get nervous when I see these classic ships on the market. I hope she won't be scrapped as it means one less liner compared to millions of clones. But I won't be surprised if she is.

id suggest a one way trip to india after all the ship is 40 plus years old saw her in italy in 1984 always reminded me of a small marconi

I am flexilbe - as long as she stays in service.

Funny enough the first ship I ever travelled with (actually the first thing afloat I got on) - which also happens to be Italian built - has been preserved as yacht. see here

I think this is an excellent example how an 'old' ship can be modernized without decorating it with 'imitations'.

Wouldn´t that be perfect for the Ausonia?

The AEGEAN 1 has just been listed for sale by the same shipbroker. Owners are asking about 14 mil.

I thought she was subject to a court order over dispute of ownership and cannot be sold by anyone? Isn't the next hearing sometime towards the end of the year.. meanwhile she can only sit doing nothing?
