I was there this morning but my film's not finished yet. Probably won't be until I got to Australia in a couple of weeks. I even have the fuel barge at the side of Saga Ruby. I'm afraid that black cloud followed us over. I also took some from the ferry going back. Saga Ruby was lit up but Saga Rose wasn't.

Great pics. Anyone got any from tonight's sailing? I didn't take my camera as my night shots come out too blurred, bit naff or not at all so wasn't going to risk it. Good job too because when they were side by side, that would never have come out.

No we wait for the return of the Sagas and Queens on the 23rd April so that'll be an early morning down the marina. My dad is so glad of the rest between now and then but I still have 3 in Fremantle next month.

Glad you all enjoyed those pictures!
It was terribly cold that day, but whata nice trat to have both sisters together in Soton!
Otherwise, a 4 hour train trip to Dover is necessary!
I managed to get on the roof of the shelters at Mayflower park.
TFYI Patsy!
How dio you get 2006 cruise ships in Soton?
VTS only goes to January!

Look in brochures mainly. They're both off on the same day and time next January from Southampton (9th I think that time). Next year they also arrive back on different days. If you're interested there will be 5 arriving on the 23rd April - QE2, QM2, Saga Rose, Saga Ruby and Oceana. For up-to-date info you can check out shipping movements It goes up to 2 days ahead though but is more accurate than the cruise schedule especially for things like Princess Danae. It is so infuritating when they don't remove ships from the list that aren't coming in. I use it all the time when I'm planning a trip to the marina.

Thanks Patsy...
Might meet with Joch again hopefully?
I only travel far for this type of ships so it is great to have them in "home"waters!

No probs, Louy. That's really useful for checking to see if what you're after is actually coming in. Make life a lot simpler if they removed things like Princess Danae and Albatros last year from the list instead of leaving them up. And the shipping movements give more accurate times than the cruise schedule.
