The Cunard web site has now listed the world cruise of the QE2 for 2006. It leaves Southampton on 3 January and arrives in New York on 9 January and then continues in a westerly direction and returns to Southampton in April.

I see that for the second year in a row that QE2 will be transiting Suez rather than rounding the Cape. Has South Africa seen the last of QE2?

Looking at the itinerary, QE2 will be calling Shanghai in 2006, and that her route around Taiwan and Japan has been changed slightly. She is calling Hong Kong about a week later then she used to be.

With the late delivery of QV, perhaps QE2 is doing world cruise again in 2007!
