I'm not sure how SOLAS will affect her? If it doesn't, I wouldn't be all that surprised to see her still with us for her centennial.
It would certainly be quite something. Not too far away either... She's 89; an extraordinary age for an operating passenger ship!
Now there are small passenger vessels, no doubt, that are older (especially things like lake steamers) but nothing of her size surely.
Incidentally the above list is indeed quite interesting, though it really only covers ships that are or have been cruise ships or liners; passenger ferries are for instance left out and there are plenty of large-ish ones still out there.
Maybe some Arab shiekh will make her his yacht...then she would not be affected by SOLAS, right?
The same goes for Doulas (and all older ships) As Great Lakes already suggested if all original wood work is already stripped it could mean she would pass Solas regulations and she could still sail around on her 100 birthday (lets be optimistic and hope many of the older ships stay afloat)
