If Malcolm leaves us, what motivation is there for me to be participate in Cruise Talk? I think we have nearly exhausted all that could have been said over the last couple of years..... what more could there be to spice up Cruise Talk and make it fresh again? It's been fun! I may still read posts on occassion. My wife is having our baby within the week, so I won't have as much time to play around online anyway. I've learned a lot and enjoyed participating. Bon Voyage to all on Cruise Talk!!!!

Barry, that reminds of the quote by the Commissioner of the U.S. Patent Office in the late 1890's who said "Everything that can be invented has already been invented".

I suspect that new Cruise Talk subjects will emerge and that there may even be a historical subject that has not yet been covered completely.

Good luck with the new addition.

Barryboat -
a completely new lifestyle (and that you will have!) is probably as good a reason as any to 'hang up your shingle' - at least for a while.

Please let us know when the little bundle arrives - perhaps even the name you choose.

Best wishes and Happy Parenting.
P.S. There's an old saying, 'everything old becomes new again' so seasoned posters can still be of help.

Barryboat - did you and Malcolm get together on this?

Sounds to me that you're both 'crying in your beer'.

Malcolm, stop being a baby! Look what you started!

Now it's my turn. We won't
be the same without you and Malcolm. Both of you
have wonderful comments.
Sometimes I think I have
made some upset too.
But, that does'nt keep
me from posting and reading and putting in how
I feel. Come on, don't leave us guys. We need both you and Malcolm. Hope
the delivery of the baby goes well. Keep us up to
date on this. KEEP POSTING
that makes me happy.

Hey Barryboat,

What's this ? Two defectors in one week ?

Holy cow !!! %##*#@@# What are we going to
do now ? Left on our own in this BIG and
VAST world of cruise talk by ourselves ?

You and Malcolm have been my inspiration for
sometime now ... but, but, WAIT A MINUTE !
I've got it figured out ! YES, YES, thats
it !!

You and Malcolm are one of the same! That's
it ! One can't leave without the other.

Or, how about this, Joe is you, you are
Malcolm, and who knows, I could be anyone
else using this forum operating under an
alias.

Yes people, think about this, is any of us
really who we say we are ? Oooohooohoo.

Okay I confess, I'm really Capt Smith born
again in this body and I am on a "karmic"
mission ...

Will the real Malcolm/ Barryboat, PLEASE
stand up.

Confused,

John B.

kbozman--if they (Malcolm and Barryboat) are one and the same, which one has the "right" English dictionary?

I signed on to two cruise BBs on the same day and 2 more a week later. I now only read this one and occasionally one other. Please do not defect--Travelpage has the only intelligent posters around, and even without spellcheck the most literate.

If you guys leave I may have to go back to work, so I beg of you: come back Shanes!

Winner (or Loser if you go)
