does anybody have any nes about premier especially SS Rembrandt - i heared roumors a few days agao it would be sold but cant find any postings on this ubject in any magazin or news paper

Premier wants to keep only the BIG RED BOAT I, II and III.
The SEABREEZE, and SEAWIND CROWN are for sale, the OCEAN BREEZE has been sold to Ramada Hotel Franchise (now IMPERIAL MAJESTY) and the REMBRANDT will either been kept as the BIG RED BOAT IV or will be sold too. It all depends on the economical situation of the line.
Rumors have been around too a while ago that Premier will join Royal Olympic Cruises and the Louis Group. Good example for this is already the similar layout of the reamining blue Premier ships towards the repainted blue ROC ships. They all have blue hulls and yellow line now.
ROC has sold the ODYSSEUS recently and the APOLLON might replace her itinerary soon if not under charter for another line.
I think if a merge between Premier and ROC / Louis will take place, lots of beautiful liners will be kept together in a unique fleet and especially in Europe will be more successful than bigger, modern ships.

I'll e-mail Premier and see what the details of the merger are. If it is a rumor they will most likely tell me that.

The person I e-mailed said that he or she has not heard of it and will check with some other cruise line officals.

Premier says that they are not allowed to mention the details. I beleive that tey are but am not positive.
