QM2 wont be the last great super liner because QE2 will be cruising with her. They will both be pioneers for the 21'st century Trans Atlantic superliner.
Barryboat.....Just curious.....why do you use a hyphen inQE-2 and not in QM2????? Cunard Line alwaysuses QE2.
A good answer to my question.....it's yourchoice. I have sailed frequently on QE2 since1972 and I just never saw it done that way. There is no reason for a hyphen, but alsono reason why you shouldn't use one. Earlyin her career I remember officers referingto her as "QE" or "the Queen", soon afterit seems "QE2" has caught on as the mostpopular. I have only heard NON ship personsrefer to her as "II" or "the second" whichis very incorrect as you stated.
Thanks for taking time to answer. Happysailing!!!!!
