The magazine, which focuses on management strategies and similar, contains a fascinating article,in which it describes the how the functions of a vast number of firms were coordinated in the design and building of the ship.
It was uncannily like the earliest adaption of PERT to the Polaris program in the 1960s. Outfits which had no shipbuilding experience were tasked with design and/or construction of specific components of the vessel.
The description of the "hands on" manner in which senior management directed the task is really a lesson in corporate organization.

I find it hard to believe that RCI didn't know they were building the largest ever passenger ship and there was no mention that the eagle project originated at NCL.
