They are great photos. Did everyone notice the fur stole on the lady. I remember on one of our cruises, a gal in our group had brought a while fur stole to the Caribbean!!! Do you know what year were these photos taken, Joe? Stoles and wraps were the norm in the "old" days and on transatlantic cruises.

Think these pictures were taken in the early to mid 60's - the stole, the pointy toe shoes the skirt length.

Actually, as you might have guessed, they are from an American Export Lines' brochure from the late 1950's. I was just a wee tike when we crossed on the Constitution in the late '50's and early 60's. Fortunately my folks kept a lot of souvenirs from our trips. These are from one of the brochures.

I have a number of b&w photos (with real passengers) from the trips and will post them if I can find them.

Did you also notice in both pictures the gentlemen lighting the ladies cigarettes and everyone happily smoking? Good thing their not on the Paradise.
