I would like to hear the horror stories (at least in general) since I am booked to sail on the Sea Breeze in Feb. The price was so low that I suspect the ship is leaking!

hi ed,
the latest story i heard was that a passenger on the seabreeze had brown water coming from his tap. he went to the desk and they suggested he buy bottled water to brush his teeth. you can read the review of the seabreeze on this travelpage.com. regardless of these problems, i am still interested in sailing on her for nostalgic purposes!

when we cruised aboard the seabreeze back in 1996..we actually had a great time and enjoyed the old gal.....there were a few places with the costa's "c" here and there like the gate next to the bridge which kept passengers away from the bridge itself. the covered promenade was my favorite hang-out and the forward sundeck...with topless tanning for the ladies. the only problem was the food....always a little bland on taste and if you wanted a second helping during dinner you would have to plead with the waiter.....other than that she's a great ship

The ship is a very stable ship and still cruising well. I only heared from some of my friends who were working on the SeaBreeze and later came over to Celebrity ships (they were hired by Apollo Ship Chandler´s which is doing the catering for boh lines) that the crew area was not so clean and the ship was quite old in some areas. But anyway the atmosphere between the passengers was great.
I don´t think there are any horror stories to say about this ship. On each ship there are good and bad things but I would prefer cruising with the SeaBreeze than with any of the new vessels over 100000 tons large.

Thanks! For $499 for an outside including port taxes, I'll bring my own water! And I agree about the super liners. Give me a small classic. By the way, I was on the last cruise of both the Britanis and the Regent Rainbow, the last season of the Regent Sea and the Ausonia. But I did enjoy the first cruise of the Mercury and the second cruise of the Galaxy. Appreciate your comments!
