The ship who may be called MSC Favolosa will be a near sister-ship of MSC Fantasia ans Splendida.

This contract follow a letter of intention signed the first march. Due to the very short delay (mid 2012), the constrcution of the ship is already start at Saint-Nazaire, before the conclusion of the firm order.

STX Europe has built all the cruises ships of MSC (exept Melody) on 3 class :

Good news Christophe!

The MSC MAGNIFICA is actually a little bit bigger than her sisters. According to Equasis, she measures 95 128 tons.

Indeed. But, besides the pool area, there are some other changes too:

MUSICA:

MAGNIFICA:

The pool has been widened and enclosed and an extra structure (suites?) has been added in front of the funnel.

rd77,

the structure in front of the funnel is the magrodome over one of the pools.

An enlarged lido restaurant (resulting in an overhanging deck) was introduced on "MSC Poesia", already. That overhanging deck has simply further been expanded forward and now includes the covered area of the pool deck.

Best,

Raoul
