Hello everyone,

It's been awhile since I've posted, but I'm still lurking . I'm not sure if anyone has commented on this, but I just went to NCL.com and they redesigned their website. Really great (and large) images of the fleet.

It looks like the have toned-down the colors as well. It is now a deeper blue/black. MUCH easier to look at!

Some other things I have noticed:
They are continuing to push the brand identity (fish in opposite direction, etc.)
Rather than having a LARGE "NCL" logo with "Norwegian Cruise Line Below", they have opted to the "smaller" logo, with NORWEGIAN Cruise Line to the side.

I see NCL is advertising for RCI

the 5th picture in rotation on the home page has Royal Caribbean's what looks like Freedom of the Seas faded in the back....I sure they could have gotten a pic with one of their ships in the back drop or easy photoshop their ship in there hahahah...I guess they're thinking not many ppl would have noticed the difference..

I noticed that too! At first glance I thought it was a Jewel-Class vessel...but then noticed the funnel was far too wide. I must say, the dark blue on the funnel they use did look very nice on the Freedom-Class ship...

Looks like a Freedom Class ship of Royal Caribbean. The ship might have been anchored at Coco Cay which is right next to NCL's private island.

I forgot to mention the NCL website is a vast improvement. I don't think the content has changed much, but the look and feel is far more professional and slick. The old website seemed very amateur to me, and I never enjoyed visiting it.

Looks like they photoshopped the funnel of the Freedom or Liberty to look Blue. Someone goofed-up.

So am I the only person for whom the new site keeps freezing and crashing my browser? For that alone, I hate it.

That will teach you for looking at .com instead of co.uk.

The co.uk site has not really changes, it's still rather poor in my opinion compared to the features on RCI's (although I hear the latter is no good ID you have a slow net connection).
