Does this mean Carnival will start stamping little silhouettes of falling passengers on the bridges of their ships?

They should definitely send him the bill...

Or the belly flop contest!

Ernie, do you mean inexperienced in falling of ships? The guy in question has at least had one 'experience' now.
If these people were not onboard a ship would they be falling off buildings instead?

I bet that he did not even settle his onboard cashless account before jumping off.

No, I mean inexperienced in the basics of life! Some of these idiots have never been outside their hometown and don't know how to behave or control themselves when placed in a foreign environment.

This is true - updated Man Overboard List.

I knew he'd be some fat, ugly chav beer-bellied redneck. He ran and jumped off of his balcony - he didn't fall - this asshat ran and jumped off into the water.
Maybe it's because I've had a bad week, but this guy is really pissing me off.

Hmmmmm, me thinks they should have left him.The guy looks like a waste of protoplasm.

They did use a computer generated visual to show how far he fell off the ship into the sea, "just miraculous he did not get dragged under the ship and into the propellers."
Maybe this guy needed to hit a meeting instead of falling off the ship...
quote:Originally posted by PamM:I trust he will be sent the bill for his rescue, and cover whatever compensation was afforded to the other pax whose vacations he so selfishly messed up.Pam
That question was raised on the local news this morning. The cost of the search and rescue mission was approximately $73,000.00, but so far it is not known if he will be charged!

I think you're right... He has slimed, hasn't he ?
quote:Originally posted by Jekyll:I actually heard on the news last night (I forget which station) that he ran through a cabin window and NOT off balcony. I am not sure whetehr I can believe this as those windows are mighty thick. Did anyone esle here this?
The first TV reports yesterday said he jumped through a window; as more details have emerged, it turns out that he simply jumped off the balcony of his stateroom. There were other people present at the time. I'm amazed he didn't seem to hit the lifeboats on the way down, although he got a collapsed lung from the impact on the water.
