Stay Connected at Sea -- Disney Cruise Line Unveils Wireless Internet
May 15, 2006

Guests sailing with Disney Cruise Line will find it easier than ever to stay connected to family and friends back home by utilizing new wireless high-speed internet on both the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder cruise ships. Guests with wireless-ready laptops will find several wireless "hot spots" on the ships, including most of the public areas -- such as Beat Street (Disney Magic)/Route 66 (Disney Wonder), Promenade Lounge, Studio Sea, Cove Cafe and all open areas on decks nine and 10.

Rates for wireless access start at $.75 per minute, but minutes can be bundled in increments of 100- and 250-minutes at $55 and $100 respectively. Guests not traveling with laptops can use existing internet cafés located in the Promenade Lounge, Cove Café, Aloft (Disney Wonder) and the Stack (Disney Magic).

To learn more about Disney Cruise Line or to book a vacation, guests can contact their travel agent, visit disneycruise.com or call Disney Cruise Line at (888) DCL-2500.

I thought the point of going on vacation was to get rid of your family and friends?

Onno

PS there is that ugly word “guests” again, what’s wrong with passengers? I would have thought Disney would utilize this more “nostalgic” naming then that sterile word guests.

I know what you are getting at Onno, but the term passenger is best suited to liners and ferries on line voyages.
