According to Seatrade insider this is what will be happening with the various carnival ships:

Carnival Conquest:

* Nothing mentioned (although from rest of deployments sounds as if it will stay in Galveston)


Holiday:

* Will resume 4/5 day cruises from Mobile after FEMA charter is over and it undergoes a 3-week refurbishment in drydock.


Sensation:

* Will undergo a comprehensive refurbishment before reentering service in March 2006.

* 4/5 day cruises from Port Canaveral start March 23, 2006 through October 19 (then this itinerary will be taken over by Elation on October 23, 2006.) The itinerary includes Nassau and either freeport or Half Moon Cay on the 4 day cruises and the 5 day cruises call at Nassau, Half Moon Cay, and Grand Turk (throughout 2006 a from May -September 2007). From January - April 2007 and October - December 2007, the five day itinerary will be Key West and Cozumel.

* Itinerary includes4/5 day cruises from New Orleans resume in October 2006.


Ectasy:

* Will undergo a 35 day multi-million dollar refurbishment with upgrades to almost all public areas and staterooms.

* Will resume 4/5 day cruises from Galveston in April after returning from FEMA charter


Elation:

* Will continue operating 4/5 day cruises from Galveston through April 3, 2006.

* Late April 2006 will launch a 7 day program from miami through mid october 2006. WIll sail every sunday on a brand new route including Half Moon Cay, St. Thomas/St. John, San Juan, and Grand Turk.

* Takes over 4/5 day itinerary mentioned above under sensation on October 23, 2006. The itinerary includes Nassau and either freeport or Half Moon Cay on the 4 day cruises and the 5 day cruises call at Nassau, Half Moon Cay, and Grand Turk (throughout 2006 a from May -September 2007). From January - April 2007 and October - December 2007, the five day itinerary will be Key West and Cozumel.
