If you have been following Blondie and Dagwood are on a Carnival cruise! Todays comic has Dagwood on the deck with what appears to be a Carnival Funnel. Good enough for him good enough for me!

I was going to ask who they were, but after finding the website discovered I do know. I think to-day's [but not yet 'today' in the US] is very amusing, with the Midnight Buffet sandwich. See here; click on 'Previous Day' for the Carnival Funnel. Keep going back they are all hilarious.

We just had ours today and they are in Hawaii (so I doubt it can be a Carnival ship )

As if they're accurate anyway LOL.

I think in the States you guys get your comics tomorrow - so watch out for it...

Alas I dropped the Philly paper(lousy delivery service) and no longer read this beloved comic strip. I"m not even certain that said paper carries the strip(they dropped many old standards in order to give the public more PC, unfunny, ideologically biased strips).

You know you're old when even the cartoon characters start looking young ...

What a trip down memory lane. And the big "75th anniversary party" frame with all the other cartoon characters was a bit of a laugh too. Thanks!

Kenneth: I don't know where you are from (no geographic ID here), but sign up for the Washington Post online, and you can get their comics online too.

Returning from my recent vacation, and no longer charging billable hours, I spent some computer time keeping up with the convoluted but gripping story line of "For Better or For Worse" until all the blanks wre filled in.

Carnival does indeed cruise to and from Hawaii. The Carnival ship Spirit does this itenarary at certain times of the year so it could be a Carnival ship. With the wages Dagwood's tightwad boss pays him, Catnival could definetly be the cruise line of choice.

I've got to start wearing my reading glasses when I post a reply. My spelling leaves something to be desired. It's Carnival not Catnival, although that name could leave the world wide open for many interesting slogans. "Come sail with us. We're purrfect for you". Your imagination could run wild.
