going on my 2nd royal caribbean cruise in may
will be receiving my "gold ultimate book" from
the "royal anchor society"
anyone know what type of certificates might
be in this

It's nothing to get over-excited about! It's a little book of vouchurs designed to make you spend more of your money onboard ship!

For example, I think that if you buy an expensive beauty-treatment, you get 10% off. Not much of an insentive unless you were going to buy that very treatment anyway. However, you may even get a free bingo card...wow!

The best one is the "buy one cocktail, get one free". I am Platinum now and one cruise from Diamond. If I get one mor 'fag-bag' and keychain, I don't know what I will do.

The only two things that would persuade me to re-book with a cruise line are 1) A good overall onboard experience, and 2) A good price.

A little book of vouchers and a free ‘fanny-pack’ are irrelevant to me.

Actually, last time we also got smoe postcards and those tiny little portable radios with earplugs that clip on your belt or you could put it in your "fag bag". They can keep that one too. Give me something of value. Give me a good upgrade or one of the Royal Caribbean dancers (female) or something. A bottle of wine would be a nice token. Wait a tick.... I did get a bottle of wine last time and a cool little corkscrew that has the logo on it. What am I complaining about? I have all kinds of stuff. It has to be worth tens of dollars.

Hey, I love any kind of free stuff we get from the line..
from the fanny pack to postcards. Although due to my husband's health...I don't think we'll be able to take anymore cruises for awhile.

Yes, actually it is where I keep my cigs (fags). And if someone wants to pinch a fag, I am always ready to oblige. I don't care for the RCI one. I have a nice leather one that has a section for my phone, two little zippers on either side perfect for my car key when at the beach bars, another section I keep business cards and a pen and a secret compartment for my stash. Didn't mean to offend anyone....
