Sailing January 5 to May 11, 2029, aboard the 392-guest Silver Whisper, A Pacific Awakening will visit more than 60 destinations across 19 countries, with 17 overnights...

Latest News...Carnival Pride is back in service in Baltimore following a 22-day dry dock in Freeport, Grand Bahama, returning with a round of updates aimed at enhancing the guest experience as the ship resumes its year-round schedule. The work marks the latest in Carnival’s ongoing fleet-refresh program, which has gradually modernized public spaces, retail venues, and entertainment areas...

Latest News...Holland America Line is preparing for the most extensive modernization effort the brand has ever undertaken, announcing a multiyear initiative that will reimagine six ships across its Vista and Signature classes. Just met with and spoke to Kathy yesterday, and she said that her contract with Carnival Cruise Lines ends next month, June..after 20 years as spokeswoman for the line.

That is an incredibly long time for any celebrity to have an endorsement contract! Actually, I would have thought she was 'onboard' before 1984. Say what you will, she helped sell a ton o' cruises.

Some of her words in her musical promotions no longer ring true, I am afraid. She spoke of so many services as being "free," services which now cost a bundle.. And the line "..not much money, oh, but honey don't we have fun?" now require a certain dash of 21st century modification. But her trilling was pleasant enough, and the image was nice. I confess to having enjoyed the commercials.

And I'm not that easy to please!

G'bye KL.

Apparently it is not necessarily for the general public to like an advertisement or even the actor, for it to be effective!

Sometimes the really annoying ones stick in the public minds better.

Haven't seen much of her on Carnival commercials in quite a while - guess she's been busy recruiting children to work in her sweat-shops, and finding bimbos to keep her fossilized, poorly-face-lifted, has-been husband occupied and off her back (In more ways than one ).

She's old hat. Talk about a marketing plan that has run it's course.

Personally, she drives me up a friggin' wall.

I feel like the odd one out. I miss her. I like her better than Kelly Ripa.
