quote:DAMBROSI posted:the other cruise lines like Costa, Holland America, Princess could do the same.Right???? I mean I remember when Costa did 3 & 4 day cruises...
I find even 7 day cruises are not long enough - you just start settling down, meeting people and it's time to get off. No more 7 dayers for me - if I have to I will do 2-7 day back to back. Airfare has alread been paid, so just have to pay for another week on the ship.
I think Holland America should seriously consider this market for Short Cruises...out of both Seattle and Vancouver!
As well I believe NCL is calling at Campbell River,BC this coming season, so lets see how they do their!
I just checked HAL's web site and the only ships they have doing a 4 day Pacific Coastal cruise are Ryndam, May 3rd San Diego to Vancouver and Statendam September 26th, Vancouver to San Diego.
Statendam, September 26th is the last cruise before they head to San Diego - it's just from Vancouver to Victoria and San Diego.
The Amsterdam is the only ship going out of Seattle and Victoria is a port of call as they have to stop at a non-US port before returning the Seattle.Nowhere can I find that they are doing 2 or 3 day cruises.
There are no cruises in October. The ships that were in Alaska, except Ryndam and Statendam, are on their way through the Canal end of September heading for the Caribbean.
