Is there some place where information regarding lectures and lecturers aboard various cruise ships and/or cruise lines can be found? I have always enjoyed a good lecture relating to the history and/or ecinomics and/or geography of the area being visited.

Some of the ships on which I have sailed have had excellent lecturers. Cunard offered the most lectures of any cruise I have taken. They were very good, too.

Princess offered excellent lectures, but not as many.

HAL's offering have been spotty- from excellent to poor.

Royal Caribbean also was spotty - running from good to non-existent.

Orient Lines did well on most occasions.

Celebrity was terrible in this regard.

Please let me know where you have been able to locate reviews of lectures and lecturers.

Thank you.

Joan

Good question! There is no one source as far as I'm aware and often Lectures are almost a secret!

Sometimes the brochures have details of 'theme cruises' and Lectures, especially P&O and Cunard.

Bill Miller (Mr.Ocean Liner) has his cruises listed on his web site: Click Here
