Hi All,

I've posted a selection of photos in the Cruise Ship Gallery. Please do not post or re-distribute them without permission; if you would like to, all I ask is that you drop me a note to ask.

Enjoy them and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks!

Nice Tim. She looks really great. For whom is Insignia sailing now?

So the hull is not actually white. In the earlier computer-enhanced photos, she had a "pebble-gray" hull, but now it looks more peach.

I would like to know how the names "Insignia" and "Regatta" were chosen, and what is the name for the third ship?

Also, who designed the Oceania logo, and whose really great idea was it to backlight the logo on the funnel with blue neon?

From the photos it looks as though Oceania is a class act all the way! Del Rio, Tim, and everyone else involved have an excellent product on their hands, great job! BTW, love the hull color- very unique.

That's odd... I ordered one about two to three weeks ago and got it yesterday. Maybe they were out of stock when you ordered it . Have you tried again?

To those who see the white hull, try changing the monitor darkner. Maybe its the brightness causing it. Her hull colors looks like the old hull colors for Royal Olmpic Cruises.

Insignia is most definitely white and not peach, although I must admit it would be a novel color for a ship.

CGT....the names were chosen in a rather novel manner. Frank liked the names Regatta and Nautica due to their nautical/yacthing connection but the second name was taken. Many other names were then disucussed and we chose Insignia as it was complimentary to Regatta and also refelcted our branding. Insignia by definition means "marked or distingusihed" and one of our signature brand elements is "a distincly different approach to crusing".

Thad---Insignia is currently sailing the Med under charter to a comnpany called TMR. She'll debut for us on April 10, 2004. Regatta will debut July 5th in Europe before taking up residence in Miami and Los Angeles for the winter.

Jeff--please check your private messages.

Ok, after starring straight at the monitor for the last 5 minutes I see peach in the first picture (drydock). BUT then in the last picture of the last line, I see white, but at the same time I see somewhat of a little "off white". Maybe its the shadow and also the sunrise/sunset????

Saw her for real last week here at Marseille and I can definately confirm she's white (and anyway, no reason to have doubts about the O.C. insider's words of this board).

I immediately loved the logo too. Sobriety, elegance and class.

Too bad I hadn't my camera with me.

As a past cruiser with them, I receive TMR's offers about this ship every week or so. A very tempting product in my opinion.

Tim-

The Teak around the pool is a very nice touch! It appears that the ship is receiving the necessary upgrades to match the upper-premium place you seek. Goodluck to you and the Regatta and Insignia.

Tim...
Your ship looks great! The logo is very sharp and on the funnel it looks fantastic, especially at night with the blue neon. I'm sure all the hard work will pay off and your new line will be a great success.

Wishing you and your coworkers all the best!
