I tend to be like Green and Smpatico's husband and, to date at least, have never had a problem.
The problem with Gravol is that I find it causes drowsiness, but I understand there is a non-drowsy type. When I can't sleep at night I take a Gravol, rather than a sleeping pill as the doctor said Gravol is non-addictive.
Whatever works for you, then that's what you should take. Everyone is different.

But if the gentle movement does get to you, my recommendation is to head for the medical centre on Deck 1 and ask the doc for his wonder needle.
It doesn't hurt and it never fails.
I will bring something regardless.

Go to the top of this page and click on "Cruise Home". Then look under "Budget Cruise Lines" and click on "Airtours". The Airtours page has a link to the web site and the Sunbird profile will tell you where she goes.
This is true for most any other Cruise Line.
