Royal Caribbean and First Choice are holdind conversations to add two more ships to Island Cruises.
The first one would be Nordic Empress and the second one Horizon or Zenith.

Well considering that the three ships mentioned constitute RCI's entire Bermuda fleet, I imagine the the Island government would be slightly nervous at this development. I wonder what Bermuda might do if this were true. Maybe try and target HAL to set up cruises. I hope that RCI keeps the two Celebrity twins, as the seem to be really nice ships.

Maybe RCI will build ships the size of Nordic Empress and Horizon/Zenith. I think the best addition is the Nordic Empress because the NP and the Island Escape have alot in common since they use to be fleetmates.

I think the Nordic Empress should be called the Island Empress.

Celebrity ships to Island Cruises?
It must be the size that cause such a downgrading!
If RCCL need to get rid of their old ships, they should put the Sovereign ships instead, but perhaps capacity is an issue.

I don't know if HAL will go to Bermuda, there seems to be a grudge between them.

Strange - I had always pictured Nordic Empress ending up with Airtours/MyTravel. How will RCIs dalliance with First Choice/Island affect the relationship Airtours had always kinda shared with them, in regards to building the fleet with their old ships at least. And despite their current financial crisis and the global economic downturn, the Sundream and Carousel are certainly now getting on in years. Would replacements not be imminent?
