Can anyone point me in the right direction or have any pictures of info on the above ship. We are really looking for info on what the ship is like and its look.

I have never been on the ship, but a neighbour did Alaska on the Galaxy a few years ago and quite enjoyed it.

Shelly, we have been on this ship but only for a few days. In our opinion it is good, larger than some at 77,000 tons but that means more amenities & no over crowding. Space ratio is quite high. I have heard a few moans about Celebrity but in our opinion they are the best in the price range, we have travelled with them 4 times now. You can find lots of reviews of Galaxy on the "cruise addicts site"

For a modern ship Galaxy actually looks rather nice with the dark bleu lines on her hull.

We were on the Galaxy in June. The service was excellent, the food is very good, the enterainment has gotten better ( this was our 7th Celebrity Cruise). I think the line has slipped a little in the past few years in quality of service but is still very good. It is my favorite line and my wife's second favorite.

There is plenty of room on the ship ( the last time we were onit it was full) to sit in the sun or find a quiet place to sit and read. Try the lounge at the top of the ship - forward for quiet place. it never seemed busy. also, try the alternative lunch by the indoor pool, it was very creative at times.

all in all, I would go on it again. It is big but not gigantic.
