Hi Joe/All
Can anyone share any first hand knowledge of what the Monarch is like now. My family is sailing on it on June 17th, 2001. I heard it was refurbished recently, but didn't see that information documented here at Travelpage.

Anyone else going on the same sailing?

We are going on the Monarch of the seas on July 22. I found some good reviews by clicking on Reader Reviews on the top left of this screen. Scroll down to Royal Caribbean, and then scroll down to Monarch of the Seas.

Also, I found some additional reviews on the Monarch of the Seas at http://www.cruisereviews.com.

I hope you will tell us how your cruise was when you get back!

We went on the Monarch of the Seas this past New Years (7 day cruise out of San Juan). The ship was immaculate and very elegant. The service was excellent and the ports of call were great. This is a very fine ship and you will be pleased. We are now looking into a 5 day cruise to the Western Caribbean this coming fall on the Monarch of the Seas.
If you need any more info on the ship let me know.
