Hey,
Well as we know, the SuperStar Libra will now be going to NCL instead OF STAR. The New name of the ship (I believe) will ne the NORWEGIAN STAR. I think this is true because when I went to the website it didnt say NORWEGIAN LEO anymore. But when you click on NORWEGIAN STAR, it gives you info on the LEO. Also, it looks like they started to re-do there website...agian. its not so bad! Looks like i think they are getting a new Logo.

hey,
now it looks like they just updated it. Now, when you click on N. STAR, it say," come back soon!"

When I had my first glance at the logo, it looked very 70's (don't ask me why!!) and old fashioned.
The wave design at the bottom looks good, though.
Im not sure if they will change the logo to the whole fleet though because it only appears on the site's main opening page.
Personally, I think that NCL should change the logo of their ships. Its quite boring with just the NCL and the ~ through it. Not imaginative at all. Some of you might agree?

It looks a bit sombre to me! Black and blue are not very warm colours (colors) are they? Andizz, you are right it does look old fashioned, but of course 'retro' is in fashion.

Malcolm,
I told you NOT to use my description on this board!!!!
Retro, is one thing, burned out is another.!!!
Now, regarding NCL's logo, I feel perfectly at home with it.
If the cruise line offers good service, edible food, and some sort of entertainment, whether it be Sophie Tucker, Al Jolsen or that "Rainbow" girl, I will sail on her.
Too bad, that most of Cruise Talk posters are too young and have no idea of what the hell I'm talking about.!!!

Remember the song "Those Were The Day's My Friend"??
Well, I remember them, and sometimes when I'm at the disco on any particular ship, I sometimes ask the DJ to slip on this song, and when he/she does, the whole room goes crazy.

Of course I am jusst fooling about missing this offer by 1 day!! I missed it about 1 month!!!!!

Cheers,
Mike

I agree with Malcolm.. It's flat. No PIZZAZZ!
It does just kind of lay there. Maybe if they added a third accent color. Red, or yellow or bright green? What happened to the Name Libra? Are they just throwing it out for Star? It seems to me they are copying Princess... Sun Princess, Star Princess? Norwegian Star, Norwegian Sun!!! Come on. there are other words. I asked the customer service folks at Norwegian and they are still saying the Leo will be doing Hawaii?

No Pizzazz or lots of it, they might want to look at their overall cruise product. A friend of mine just returned from an NCL freestyle cruise and hated it. After sailing numerous times with NCL over the years (up to 4 a year), he has finally called it quits and will focus on other lines instead. I know from what I've read about "freestyle" it's not "mystyle" so, even though I have cruised with them before, I no longer consider them when selecting a cruise.

Re: the NCL new logo.

Reminds me of women's deodorant or shampoo or something. Like Secret brand or Suave, here in the US.
