There was something written about this ship and the other, the Sea Breeze, just recently, but don't remember if it was on this forum. Go into "search" and type in Ocean Breeze or Sea Breeze and see what comes up. If I find it will let you know. If I remember correctly, it wasn't very flattering.

I saw the ship while I was in Nassua. It looked a little run down from the outside.

Old and small sailed on it three years ago when Premier owned it. Went to South America and Pananama Canal. Several friends have sailed on her since the hotel company purchased from Premier. The prices start at $145 per person including port charges. I think athree day cruise with a day in Nassau including food and entertainment can't be beat. The port tax alone is $89.50. The only way to beat that is to eat at home and swim accross from Miami. It is CHEAPER than a day cruise and cheaper than a round trip ticket.
I know there are some that will expect the Ritz Carlton still. The ship is safe, clean and has a romantic feeling about it. The ship offers avery small pool, nice decks and deck chairs. Nice size gift shop and disco for the size of the ship. I think if you spent a night at the movies and at a cheap hotel and dined at Dennys, along with the gas for the car, you would spend more than $145 dollars in two night. OOOOPS don't forget the large soda and buttered pop corn and the Dennys tip.

I sailed on Ocean Breeze on Jan 19 this year. I am the first to admit that I'm a ship buff, an opposed to a cruise nut, so there may be a bias here. I found the ship remarkable. During her refit all carpets, upholstry, bedding and drapes were replaced by quality materials. Service levels were very good, as was dining room food. Maintainance levels are high, and she is very clean everywhere. The only areas in need of improvement were the buffet food offerings, and a life boat drill that is woefully inadequate. A few days later we saw Regal Empress in the Canal, and she did look tired and worn. I'd sail with Imperial Majesty again, as it sure beats time in a hotel!
