I'm trying to decide between Royal Carribian and Princess cruise lines for a cruise to Hawaii. Any suggestions would be welcome.

HAL or Princess? It would depend on the ship. Which ones are they?

I would call them about equal.

I'd choose either princess or Holland America depending on the price.

The Statemdan is the way to go! 16 days roundtrip out of San Diego. What a delight that cruise was! Four very relaxing days at sea, then the islands, when the ship arrived in Honolulu a chopper flew over the ship and droped flowers all over the decks! Then four relaxing days at sea back to San Diego. And I did not have to fly as I just drove to the ship parked my car dock side and sailed away!
Richard

I agree with Richard. Did it twice, once on the Rotterdam V and the second time on the Statendam. A wonderful, relaxing cruise.

I've no experience with Princess, but HAL's "S" class ships are wonderfully comfortable.

Hi Folks

I have just finished watching a 4 part series on cable called The Cruise. It was the cruise to Hawaii on board the Statendam. It looked to be a wonderful ship. Has anyone else seen the series The Cruise?
