I've never gone on a cruise before... I have many kids and need to know what to expect on Premier Cruise to NovaScotia from Boston.

How much does it cost for a beer, or a wine or a marguerita? Is diet coke or other soda free? What about an alcohol free daiqri?

I know my spelling stinks, but I still need help!!!

Many cruise lines are now featuring a soft drink card that you can purchase for the week but only if you are 15 or 16 or younger. Alcohol is paid for by the individual drink and non-alcohol drinks would be as an alcohol drink, just like in a club.
You can usually get tea, coffee, lemonade and orange juice for free at some point on the ship but you will have to find out where. Premiere might be different but I would rather think not.

You can get a softdrink and milk at most meals in the dining room.

Most cruise lines charge a little 'over the top' for beer, wine, and spirits etc.

Mind you, while you are at sea you can hardly take your custom elsewhere...they realise this!

Just relax and enjoy your cruise, but keep a regular check on you onboard (cashless) account - that way you will not have a heart attack when you come to pay the bill at the end of the cruise.
