In your opinion, what is the best time to cruise in the western Caribbean. We were there last year in late November/early December. The temperature was nice but it was very windy every day causing them to cancel one port and several excursions. We also got into a bit of rain. Did anyone have perfect weather and when was it.

My 2 December Western Caribbean cruises have both had perfect weather. Last year mid November was fine, but ours was the first time in weeks that they were able to make it into Cancun. Out of 2 April cruises, one was hot and sunny all of the way, and the other had some rain.

We usually go late july before hurricane season. It is always hot and sunny.As far as being windy, it is always windy any time of the year we've been. Cozumel is my favorite. the beaches are really nice.

We went twice to the Western Caribbean, but they were different ports. Both times it was the first week in April and we had perfect weather ! It was windy in Nassau. Very HOT HOT HOT in Calica, over 100 degrees!

Spring time is the best. In December the days are too short. Get's dark shortly after 5:30 pm.

I like the sun still blazing longer than that.

March, April and May are the best months in the Caribbean, hurricane sesaon begins the end of July and runs through October. (However the weather can be perfect during the fall months also.)We are in the Caribbean the first week of every April and for the past four years, the weather has been WONDERFUL.
