How long dose it take to get your refund from SunCruises, as they cancelled our trip. I called my Visa company and it hasn't shown on my account? Thanks Jocelyn

Just call your charge card company and contest the charge.

We have had our cruise cancelled by Sun cruises and instead of them crediting our card we were sent a cheque within four days.
We also got vouchers and compensation for our trouble.

Assuming you booked with an Agency -contact your Counsellor - ask for copies of correspondence - a reputable Agency will do everything possible to help you..

It might help if you called Visa again and asked for the address to which you could send PHOTOCOPIES of your invoice and notification of cancellation. Don't part with the originals!

Have no idea of procedures if you booked on the Net

Good luck -

NO! I have not been credited for trip. My VISA company says they have 30 days and if after 30 days no credit I should call them again and they will contact the line. This is really a pain as I have now put another cruise on my card. We are on the Imagination April 8th. This will be our first Carnival cruise, sure hope we have a good time as at the moment this is costly. It cost me quite a bit extra as we fly out of Denver. So far I'm not to thrilled as we have to change planes in St. Louis and only have 30 minutes, hope we make the connection. One thing that helps we will arrive day before sailing.I guess I got a little gabby here, I think it has something to do with being nervous about the trip. Thanks for asking.

Oh dear - sounds like you did the booking without a TA - call the cruise line - get and write down the name of the person with whom you speak, date and time.

If you did use a TA sincerely, hope it's not the same one you’re using for the upcoming cruise.

Had this experience once - we were double billed for our balance payment - first call was to the TA who immediately called the Line and reported back advising that things should be straightened out within a couple of days but advised that it would do no harm and might be helpful if I called the CC people - I did advising them that I had no intention of paying the double charge and stressing that WE WOULD NOT PAY INTEREST ON THE ’UNPAID BALANCE’ AMOUNT – it was the cruise line’s error.. Then I called the Line directly - they all have a Customer Service desk - it takes patience and persistence to reach it - and told them of the error. Was transferred to the Accounting section and within a week the charge had been cancelled. Our TA was advised by the Line and advised us of the decision before the CC people got around to it.
I had along list of names, dates and times .

It was in fact a computer glitch and apparently many passengers were affected.

Again, Good Luck.
P>S. You've got a day to spare - don't worry about the connection.
